About Haoyun Sushi Haoyun Sushi is a Japanese-style Sushi & Grill Restaurant located in Veghel, the Netherlands. We work with fresh ingredients and offer our guests a wide selection of sushi, grilled dishes and hot dishes as part of an all-you-can-eat dining concept. We are looking for an Independent Working Chef I to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate should be able to work independently, take responsibility for food preparation and maintain consistent quality in a professional restaurant kitchen.

Main Responsibilities * Independently prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.* Apply basic professional cooking techniques.* Check the quality, taste, presentation and doneness of dishes.* Provide technical guidance to kitchen assistants.* Supervise and support kitchen assistants during daily operations.* Manage kitchen stock and assist with ordering ingredients.* Follow recipes, production schedules and kitchen planning.* Strictly follow HACCP, food hygiene and safety regulations.* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned.* Contribute ideas for menus, recipes and preparation methods.* Work efficiently as part of an international kitchen team.    Requirements * MBO level 3 or equivalent professional experience.* Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.* Ability to work independently and responsibly.* Good teamwork and communication skills.* Willingness to work according to HACCP and food safety regulations.* Experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen is preferred.* Experience with sushi, Japanese cuisine or Asian cuisine is an advantage. Employment Conditions * Salary: €2,650 – €3,250 gross per month.* Working hours: 38 hours per week.* Contract: Temporary contract for 2 years.* Position: Independent Working Chef I.* Job group: 5.* Opportunities for career development within the company.* Travel allowance.* Opportunities for training and further professional development.* Staff meals and drinks during working hours.* A professional and pleasant working environment. Location Haoyun SushiMolenstraat 365461 JR VeghelThe Netherlands
