  ·        What we do and who we are    

Organic Bread Bar is specializing in organic sourdough, slow fermented yeasted breads. We do pastries, Croissants, scones and cakes. We have Gluten- wheat- and dairy free products.

  ·        How do we produce it/where does it come from?

We are a small artisan bakery on South Dowling street; our products are all hand- made in small batches. All the offered goods are produced from scratch on the premises. Our bakery is not enclosed in a temperature controlled area, this fact is asking for a very high level of skill and attention to detail. Only through love and passion for the profession can we achieve and maintain consistent high quality. The breads are partly fermented at ambient temperature which creates a unique flavor, texture and crust. We use Australian certified organic flour for our breads and try to source produce locally when available. We are GMO free.

Wünsche und Anforderungen an den Bewerber

•Knowledge of deck ovens & baking •Proofing and preparing for baking •2-3 years experience with sourdoughs, hand moulding, shaping, cutting breads •Mixing experience and understanding the process of sourdough and yeast dough •Sound knowledge in weighing ingredients for different type of bread and pastry •Scaling •Knowledge in a wide variety of different type of flours and seeds •Strong work ethic We offer a great team environment and conditions for the right person.
